CERRIE deconstruction

THE FAILURES OF CERRIE

The Committee Examining Radiation Risk of Internal Emitters, which reported in October 2004, made a dogs' breakfast of its job.

Here we show the utter nonsense they made of infant leukaemia after Chernobyl - an unequivocal body of evidence demonstrating a large error in conventional radiation risk models.

Follow this link to a report in Radioactive Times Volume 6 number 1, May 2005, which gives as much of the truth about the bizarre proceedings of this UK Government Scientific Committee as any reasonable person would want to read. If you wanted to go into it more deeply you'd probably be looking at a doctoral thesis and you'd want access to the high quality audio tapes LLRC made (openly) during every meeting of the Committee - a resource which is almost certainly unique in the history of science advice to government.
