Mobile 'phones,
other sources of microwaves and electro-magnetic fields

LLRC specialises in ionising radiation. We do not address the effects of non-ionising radiation from mobile 'phones, microwave installations, computers and the like. Other organisations are working in that field.
However, an application by Orange for a transmitter in Aberystwyth (2006 - 2007) inspired us to commission a before and after health survey to enable possible effects to be examined. Click here to see the full story
and here for the summary of the science that seems to have put some steel into local Councillors, because they rejected the application three times and dared Orange to appeal to the Government.
